Our diverse range includes standard PLA for detailed models, as well as advanced materials such as PETG and flexible TPU, ensuring that we can cater to the unique requirements of each project with precision and reliability.

What’s the right 3D printing material for your project?

PLA/PLA+

Polylactic Acid, commonly known as PLA, is one of the most popular materials used in 3D printing. It is one of the most environmentally friendly filaments on the market today. Derived from crops such as corn and sugarcane, PLA is renewable and most importantly biodegradable. PLA is ideal for 3D prints where aesthetics are important. Due to its lower printing temperature, it is easier to print with and therefore better suited for parts with fine details.

PETG

PETG is the perfect filament to combine strength and ductility, which is why it’s used in so many mechanical parts and robotics. It has great chemical resistance with good water, acidic and alkalic resistance.

TPU

Thermoplastic Polyurethane, or TPU, is recognised for its flexibility and elasticity. TPU is widely utilized for creating flexible and durable objects. Its unique properties make it suitable for applications such as phone cases, footwear, and medical devices. TPU is known for its excellent layer adhesion and resilience, making it an ideal choice for prints that require impact resistance. Additionally, TPU’s ability to withstand wear and tear, along with its chemical resistance, enhances its appeal for functional prototypes and end-use products in various industries.

ABS

Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, or ABS, is a widely used thermoplastic in 3D printing, prized for its strength, durability, and versatility. Known for its excellent impact resistance and toughness, ABS is a good choice for producing durable end-use parts. Its ability to withstand moderate heat and resist chemicals further expands its applicability. ABS exhibits good layer adhesion, making it suitable for prints with intricate details and complex geometries. It has great post-processing capabilities, such as sanding and acetone smoothing, which contributes to its popularity in various industries for creating robust and polished 3D prints.

ASA

Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate, or ASA, is known for its excellent outdoor durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions. ASA is particularly suitable for applications requiring prolonged exposure to sunlight and UV radiation, as it exhibits exceptional UV resistance, preventing colour fading and material degradation over time. Similar to ABS, ASA offers high strength and impact resistance, making it a reliable choice for end-use parts. Its ability to maintain stability in challenging environmental conditions, coupled with ease of printing, positions ASA as a favoured material for outdoor and functional prints in various industries.

PC

Polycarbonate, abbreviated as PC, is a high-performance thermoplastic utilised in 3D printing for its exceptional strength, heat resistance, and optical clarity. Known for its impact resistance, PC is favoured for applications requiring robust and durable components. It has a high glass transition temperature, making it suitable for prints that need to withstand elevated temperatures. PC’s ability to maintain dimensional stability under heat, coupled with its transparency and resistance to chemicals, positions it as a versatile material for a range of industrial applications. While printing PC requires more expertise, its outstanding mechanical properties make it an ideal choice for producing engineering-grade prototypes and functional parts in demanding environments.
